World AIDS Day is celebrated on the 1st of December since 1988. It is an international day dedicated for raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died due to the disease. MBA institutes in Bangalore
The class of Batch-2021-23 celebrated an awareness program on the occasion of World AIDS Day. The program was an initiative taken by the students of the class who took the prerogative to invite the director, Kuldeep Sharma sir; the principal of IIBS, Dr. Samiya Mubeen and faculty member, Dr. Sukanya. The event was about spreading the information to stop the spread of misinformation among the people not only of our generation but to also enable us to educate those around us with the correct information. The event was started off by Rishitha, who provided the information about what aids is, and how it is transmitted as well as giving the information about the various tests one can take for the early detection of the infection in order to prevent it. The information was the continued by Saurav Joshi, who gave the factual information from the CDC website as well as updated us on the current situation of the people affected by the disease. The event was wrapped up by Anushree, a fellow student who gave a short vote of thanks.
