India celebrates its Republic Day on January 26 each year. It will be the nation's 74th Republic Day in 2023. Even though India was liberated from the British Empire in 1947, it wasn't until January 26, 1950, when the Indian Constitution took effect and India formally proclaimed a republic. The head of the Constitutional Drafting Committee was Dr. BR Ambedkar. IIBS has organised a debate and quiz competition on the Indian Constitution as part of the commemoration of Republic Day. The event was coordinated by Prof.Susmitha.
India's national objectives—democracy, socialism, secularism, and national integration—are outlined in the Constitution. It outlines the people's obligations and rights. A country's constitution is treasured as a sacred scripture. Students must therefore gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Constitution. The debate contest was organised to foster and promote among the student's constitutional literacy, constitutional rights, and ideals that are included in the Constitution. top 10 mba colleges in bangalore
