As part of experiential learning, ABM students of IIBS have attended the Krishi Mela 2022. The visit was coordinated by Dr. G.N. Nagaraj, Prof.Archana YC, and Prof.Mangala V Reddy. The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru in collaboration with the Government, private and public sector units, was organized Krishi Mela from at GKVK campus in Bengaluru. As part of this mega event, Agricultural Exhibition was held to showcase the latest technologies of agriculture and allied areas for the benefit of the farming community.

It provides an opportunity for research and development institutes, development departments, agricultural universities, Agri input agencies, premier seed companies, agricultural machinery manufacturers, animal husbandry sector, Agri entrepreneurs, publishers related to agriculture, and NGOs striving for the rural livelihood to showcase their technologies, activities, and products to the farming community visiting from different parts of Karnataka and neighboring states. This year, UAS focused on ‘Startups in agriculture. The main attraction of the Mela this year was nearly thirty businesses in industries such as food processing, tissue culture, crop protection, precision agriculture, Agri-drones, Marketing, and supply chain.
