Inaugural Session of MOM 2022 for Batch 2022-24 | AICTE approved MBA college in Bangalore

IIBS organized a splendid Inaugural session of Orientation Programme, MOM 2022 to formally welcome first-year students of batch 2022. This orientation program is designed to support new students as they begin their journey at IIBS. In the inaugural session, Prof.Kuldeep Sharma, Director(Academic), Mr.Naveen Kumar, CEO of Growth Consulting, Prof.NSR Murthy, Registrar, Prof.Narayan Prasad, and Dr.Rajasulochana, Principal, gave their gracious presence. 

 

The session began with a prayer to Goddess Saraswathi for a propitious beginning by Srishty Srivastava and all the dignitaries took part in the lighting of the lamp. Dr.Rajasulochana welcomed and greeted the new batch of IIBS. She also shared her thoughts on the Management program's values and duties. 

 

Prof. Kuldeep Sharma, the Director, gave the opening remarks. He shared with students the successful journey of IIBS in molding the students for the corporate world, also the background, vision, growth, and system of IIBS.

 

The Chief Guest of the session was Mr. Naveen Kumar, the CEO of Growth Consulting, who has 30 years of business expertise.  The importance of management education in the whole development of aspiring managers was highlighted in his outstanding speech. He also emphasized the need for students to create high goals in line with their passions and to align their target, action, and thought in order to attain those goals. Prof. NSR Murthy, Registrar in his speech shared his thoughts on how to modify one’s personality and even on the importance of networking. He emphasized that networking provides access to the tools required to support students' professional growth in addition to acquiring and refining skill sets.

 

After the opening session, Prof. Kuldeep Sharma started the session for the new class with an ice-breaking activity to get the students to talk to one another and share some personal information. Some students may find it challenging to fit in with a group of other students, but others will have made friends already. The session's objectives were to establish rapport, boost one's confidence and exceed one's comfort zone, improve effective communication skills, and foster the habit of team building.

 

The students were fortunate to have such a lovely beginning, complete with the wise remarks of all dignitaries.
