For PGDM students from the 2022 batch, a guest lecture was held in Seminar Hall 1 on campus. Dr. Bhaskar Reddy, Academic Director, and Dr. Samiya Mubeen inaugurated the programme. Together with the faculty coordinator Prof. Narayan Prasad, Marketing Pavilion, the marketing club of IIBS, organised and carried out the entire event. The club's motto is "Connect with creation." The speaker expressed his gratitude and happiness at the opportunity to speak with aspiring Corporates and entrepreneurs. He gave a brief introduction and described his two-year journey at IIBS to the students. He admitted that despite having many chances with large companies after graduating from IIBS, he chose a start-up instead because he thought doing so would allow him to develop and learn more while also better utilising his strengths and skill sets. The class was very beneficial for the students because it gave them the clarity and direction they needed to move forward in their area of specialisation. It also gave them an understanding of the key certifications and courses that were necessary for it, which would be useful for students to obtain internships and job placement. The workshop gave the pupils more self-assurance and a positive outlook.
