For the MBA/PGDM 2021 Batch students, IIBS organized an international tour that took place from November 23 to November 27, 2023. The objective was to introduce students to the dynamic economic environment of the United Arab Emirates and to offer first hand insight into global business practices. The purpose of this trip was to provide a comprehensive learning experience by combining academic understanding with real-world exposure.
Its main objective was to explore Dubai's diverse business environment and its global strategic significance. Additionally, the tour aimed to connect students with leading corporations, industries, and business professionals through site visits, seminars, and networking events. This exposure would help students grasp cultural nuances and their impact on business conduct in the Middle East, fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration among peers.
The five-day tour included an itinerary that was diligently planned to combine educational activities with cultural immersion.
- Day 1 began with orientation and introductory sessions on Dubai's economy and business landscape, followed by a city tour highlighting iconic landmarks like Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, and Jumeirah Mosque. The day concluded with a dhow cruise dinner.
