75th Independence Day Celebrations

IIBS is eager to celebrate the 75th Independence Day Celebrations along with all our dedicated citizens of our great nation.  IIBS is enabled by the Government to offer quality education.  It is the Government policy that makes or breaks a nation.  Let us remember two of the great Governments that placed our country on a pedestal that is unstoppable and is gaining great momentum, ever since.

1991 is a historic moment for the country, when the shackles of License Raj was broken and enabled private to freely put up enterprises in few sectors, to start with.  From pledging gold to pay forex debt, then, we are now sitting on a pile of $612 billion, becoming 4th largest forex reserves holder in the world.  Sri. Narasimha Rao, the then Prime Minister of India, gets all the credit for his leadership to kick start our economy.

1998 is another historic moment for the country, when Pokhran – II tests were successfully conducted, thereby informing the world “it can no longer exploit this great country”.  Sri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the then Prime Minister of India had great belief in Dr.Abdul Kalam, the Missile Man.  When the US put sanctions for Pokhran II tests, our NRI fraternity overwhelmingly pumped $5 Billion to help contain the Rupee decline. That is the confidence Sri Atal had in our people who lived abroad.

To know the true history of India, one should read the books of Will Durant, David Frawley, Koenraad Elst, and Francois Gautier.  And of course, our present parliamentarian Dr.Shashi Tharoor’s book on India “An Era of Darkness”.

India is the nation that has a story of riches to rags and now resurging like a phoenix.  We believe that every citizen of our country, as well as those who live abroad, make our India, once again, a great country to reckon with.
