The Celebrations of Teachers Day was marked with the plantation drive conducted by the MBA students as a tribute & expression of gratitude to teachers. Teachers’ day is celebrated to commemorate the birth of great academic philosopher, former ex-president of India Dr. Sarvepallyi Radhakrishnan, who was the first Indian scholar to teach at Oxford University. On September 5, 2019, Teacher’s Day was celebrated in International Institute of Business Studies. The celebration started with Tree Plantation in the surrounding the campus at 11.00 am. The plantation was inaugurated by our respected Registrar Prof. N.S.R. Murthy and our respected Dean Prof. Kuldeep Sharma along with all teaching and non-teaching faculties and students.
As per our Indian culture, the program started with lighting the lamp in our campus auditorium hall at 12.30 pm. In the presence of all faculties and students of MBA batch 2019-2021, dignitaries shared valuable words and real-life memories along with few faculty members. Students also expressed their love for teachers through their self-written quotes, poems, and shayri. They also performed cultural activities like singing, dancing, etc.
The program was beautifully concluded with the cake-cutting ceremony with all the faculties and students.
