72nd Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at IIBS. To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation, Prof. Kuldeep Sharma, Dean of IIBS unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the Nation.
Followed by the Flag hoisting ceremony few programs held the stage and sweets were distributed. The celebration at the campus was winded up by distributing the prizes to the winners of the program.
As a part of CSR activity in association with Rotract Club and IIBS contribution towards upliftment of underprivileged people, PGDM & MBA students visited an Orphanage at RT Nagar accompanied by Dr. A Prakash, Prof.Rubina and Rotaract Club president Rahul Parashar, which arouse the importance of charity, where IIBS students spent time with children and distributed sweets and provided some stationary items to the orphans. Some electrical appliances were donated to the orphanage which is of use for the daily purpose. Children were served food followed by cake cutting and a few games to make the day memorable for them which they can cherish.
