Blood Donation Camp Held by IIBS Rotaract Club, Bangalore

A Blood Donation Camp was organized by IIBS Rotaract Club, Bangalore. As a part of its continuous endeavour to serve society, IIBS Rotaract Club organized a blood donation camp in association with Rotary Bangalore Heritage on 21st July 2018.

The program started at 9.30 am with an inaugural ceremony where Prof. Rizwan Ali Baig (Registrar, IIBS) and Rtn. Rashmi Tanksali (President Rotary Bangalore Heritage NCC) eulogized the students for organizing such a noble program. Dr.Keshav (team in charge), Ms.Manju and 6 other staff members from the Bangalore Medical service Trust (BMST) were welcomed to monitor the camp along with Rtn. Himanshu Singh and Rtn.Mini Pushkar (Rotary Bangalore Heritage NCC).

There was an overwhelming response from the PGDM students and villagers nearby the college to be a part of the service to society. There were around 50 units of blood collected in the short duration of the program. Refreshment was given to the donors as a token of gratitude. Mr. Rahul Parashar, President of Rotract IIBS, Mr.Boobesh, Secretary Rotract IIBS and other members of the club actively coordinated to make this an epitome. The camp was winded up at 2.00pm by felicitating the medical team who were given an ardent support throughout the program.
